The question of dental practice or practise often appears when checking the correct spelling for professional or healthcare-related writing. In British English, a dental practice refers to the place or organisation where dental services are provided, making “practice” the appropriate noun in this context. “Practise”, meanwhile, is generally used when describing the action of performing or carrying out a professional activity. Understanding how each word functions can help avoid common spelling mistakes.
