I am a full time missionary serving in Costa Rica with Rice and Beans Ministries. We help over ten thousand families a year with food. We also work with children in VBS activities and help them with school supplies. With the help of our team, we were able to help five thousand children with uniforms and over twenty-five thousand with school supplies. Being able to share Gods love in so many ways has truly be a blessing.
Once we encountered an 87-year-old lady that had not been able to leave her home in five years due to stairs. She also hadn’t been able to use a bathroom for the same time because the bathroom had steps to and from as well. We committed to help her with the situation. We built her a ramp to the home, a new bathroom, and as we were working we found out she didn’t have a real bed nor had she had one in her life. So we bought her a bed! God truly blessed this house and the woman has been able to walk into the street again.
