TRAVEL ADVISORY - FAA bans Samsung Galaxy Note7

Starting October 15, 2016, the FAA has banned all Samsung Galaxy Note7 phones from air transportation in the United States. This includes both original and replacement Samsung Galaxy Note7 devices.

For those who own or posses a Samsung Galaxy Note7 device, you may not transport the device in your carry-on luggage or in your checked bag on flights to, from or within the United States.

Any passenger attempting to travel with a Samsung Galaxy Note7 device will be denied boarding.

If any passenger attempts to avoid the ban by packing their device in their checked luggage, the passenger may be subject to criminal prosecution and fines.
