Yesterday, American Airlines was the first major U.S. airline to announce they were saying goodbye to international changes fees. They will eliminate their change fees on for their First Class, Business Class, Premium Economy and Main Cabin tickets that originate travel in North or South America, Basic Economy will still face change fees.
Many passengers had seen these fees waived during the pandemic, but will see them eliminated moving forward.
