COVID-19 - Ecuador Entry Requirements

Updated: Nov 12, 2020

Ecuador is now requiring proof of a negative COVID PCR test that has been taken no more than ten days before entering the country. This has been extended from the previous seven day requirement.

If travelers do not present symptoms of COVID-19, then the traveler does not need to quarantine.

If passengers have not taken a test prior to travel, they will be required to take one upon entry, at their own expense, and then quarantine in a hotel, hostel, motel or other temporary accommodation that is approved for quarantining.

Passengers must also complete the "Declaracion de salud del viajero" form upon arrival into Ecuador.
