COVID-19 - Israel is Shutting Down for a Second Time
The government of Israel voted on Sunday, September 13th, to begin another national lockdown. This lockdown will begin Friday, September 18th and go for at least three weeks.
Israel will be the first country to go into a second lockdown at the national level.
This lockdown will coincide with the start of the Jewish High Holiday season and will last through at least Yom Kippur.
Government leaders are still nailing down what all the requirements will look like for this lockdown. Currently entry to Israel will be refused to non-citizens or non-residents of Israel arriving from anywhere in the world. For more information on Israel’s guide lines for tourists click here.
